On September 24th 2016 the first annual Bluegrass Bonner Summit was held at Lindsey Wilson College and hosted by the LWC Bonner Program.
The Bluegrass Bonner Summit aims to unite Bonner Scholars and Staff from various Kentucky Colleges.

Samantha Ha from the Bonner Foundation led the closing session of the Summit, encouraging students to discuss what they had learned and gained from their workshops and sessions throughout the day. The day’s final activity consisted of each student reflecting on what three words they thought described their feelings about the day.
