"Service Site[s] of the Month" are places where Bonners can be found volunteering their time day in and day out. These sites are cornerstones in the community and are a helping hand to those in need.

Adair Friends and Neighbors is our September "Service Site of the Month" Their Mission Statement is as follows: "To provide a quality Adult Day Health program with nursing services to enhance the wellbeing of elders and their caregivers." The goal in addition to their mission statement is to "provide a program filled with enjoyable activities where people can have companionship, develop friendship, enjoy support and have their health needs taken care of in a warm, welcoming homelike environment."

Their services include:

  • Health Monitoring by Nurses

    • Personal Care

    • Assistance with obtaining medication

    • Socialization activities

    • Field Trips

    • Home cooked meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack)

    • Assistance with MD appointments

On Friday September 2nd one of the residents celebrated her 99th birthday. To the left are pictures of her birthday party complete with party decorations, presents, and fun all around.
